Gypsy Women Livelihood Support Program
ROPES implemented a livelihood development initiative to empower Gypsy women through beads making and marketing activities. The program provided financial assistance, skill development training, and livelihood support to help women establish and manage their own beads shops, creating sustainable self-employment opportunities within their communities.
Through this initiative, participants enhanced their entrepreneurial skills, increased their income-generating capacity, and gained greater confidence in managing small businesses. The program enabled many Gypsy women to become financially independent, improve their living conditions, and contribute to their families’ economic well-being.
By promoting traditional craftsmanship and supporting market access, the initiative strengthened women’s empowerment, encouraged economic self-reliance, and fostered long-term social and financial stability among marginalized communities. ROPES remains committed to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities that help vulnerable women build a secure and dignified future.
