At ROPES, we believe that quality education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for future generations. Our education program focuses on ensuring that children from vulnerable and marginalized communities have access to inclusive, equitable, and quality learning opportunities.
Working closely with schools, families, communities, and local authorities, we strive to improve educational access, retention, and learning outcomes for children, particularly those at risk of dropping out of school. Through innovative learning approaches and child-centered interventions, we help children develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in life.

Key Interventions
Remedial Education Centers :
ROPES operates remedial learning centers that provide additional academic support to children who require assistance in improving their reading, writing, and mathematics skills. These centers help bridge learning gaps and enhance children’s confidence and academic performance.
School Infrastructure Support :
We collaborate with schools and communities to improve learning environments through the provision of essential educational learning materials, classroom improvements, and child-friendly facilities.
Sponsorship support for 1500 the most vulnerable poor and needy children :
To ensure that financial barriers do not prevent children from accessing education, ROPES supports deserving and vulnerable children through Child designated gift (scholarships) and educational assistance programs.
Teacher Capacity Building :
We conduct training and capacity-building programs for teachers to strengthen child-centered teaching methodologies, classroom management practices, and innovative learning techniques that improve student outcomes.
Early Learning Centers for Children (3–5 Years):
ROPES promotes holistic early childhood development through play-way education for children aged 3–5 years. Using locally available and low-cost learning materials such as stones, sticks, nuts, clay, sand pits, cardboard, and picture cards, children learn basic concepts through creative indoor activities. Outdoor play is encouraged using cycle tyres, vehicle tyres, ladders, and other play equipment to enhance physical, social, and cognitive development. These child-friendly learning centers provide a joyful and stimulating environment that prepares children for formal schooling.
Creative Learning Centres :
ROPES operates 32 Creative Learning Centres across 32 villages in Bangarupalyam Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, benefiting 1,600 children aged 6–13 years annually. These centres provide supplementary academic support beyond regular school hours, focusing on English, Mathematics, and Science through creative and play-based learning methods.
The programme aims to strengthen foundational learning, improve academic performance, and bridge learning gaps among children from marginalized communities. Through innovative activities, educational games, experiments, and creative learning materials, children develop critical thinking, creativity, and confidence. As a result, many children have excelled in exhibitions, competitions, and academic assessments, demonstrating improved learning outcomes and overall educational achievement.

After-School Study Centres (ASSC) :
ROPES operates After-School Study Centres in eight remote tribal villages—Devalampeta, Doddipalli, Thimmayyagaripalli, Kapatlabanda, Gubalabanda, Nadamanthram, Kavalimadugu, and Gadduru Yanadi Colony—to support children from marginalized and economically disadvantaged families. These villages have limited access to transportation, educational resources, and academic support, resulting in higher rates of school dropouts and child marriages.The centres provide supplementary education for children aged 6–15 years, with special focus on Mathematics, English, Science, and Telugu. 8 Teachers are Teaching these children Through activity-based and play-way learning methods, children participate in educational games, storytelling, quizzes, creative activities, and group learning sessions that enhance academic performance, confidence, creativity, communication skills, and life skills.
The programme creates a supportive learning environment beyond school hours, helping children improve their learning outcomes and stay motivated in their education.

Generation Global Programme :
ROPES implemented the Generation Global Programme of the Tony Blair Institute in 13 Creative Learning Centres and 2 High Schools to promote global citizenship, intercultural understanding, and communication skills among rural Dalit and Tribal students. The programme enabled students aged 13–17 years to connect with peers from different countries through facilitated video conferences and dialogue sessions.
The programme also helped improve English-speaking abilities, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. Students actively participated in essay writing and elocution competitions, with many receiving awards for their outstanding performance. The initiative broadened horizons, encouraged respect for diversity, and empowered young people to become informed and responsible global citizens.
Students discussed important global issues such as climate change, environmental protection, cultural traditions, education, gender equality, and social media literacy, while sharing their perspectives and learning from others around the world. Through these interactions, students developed critical thinking, communication, active listening, leadership, and global citizenship skills.

Empowering Special (Differently Abled) Children :
ROPES is committed to promoting the inclusion, participation, and overall development of Special (Differently Abled) Children. At present, 50 children receive travel support of ₹500 per month each, enabling them to attend Bhavitha Centres regularly and access educational, developmental, recreational, and skill-building opportunities. At the Bhavitha Centres, children participate in puzzles, learning activities, vocational training, games, competitions, creative programmes, and team-building exercises that enhance their confidence, independence, communication skills, social interaction, and overall well-being. The programme provides a supportive and child-friendly environment where children can discover and showcase their talents and abilities.
ROPES also works with parents and communities to increase awareness about the rights, potential, and capabilities of special children, fostering a more inclusive and supportive society.

Travel Support Provided: ₹500 per Child per Month (₹25,000 per Month Total)
Special Coaching for 9th & 10th Class Dalit and Tribal Students :
ROPES implemented Special Coaching Classes for Dalit and Tribal students studying in Ragimanupenta and Bangarupalyam Government High Schools to improve academic performance and strengthen learning outcomes in English, Mathematics, and Science. Through focused coaching, concept-based teaching, continuous assessments, and academic mentoring, students received additional support to prepare for public examinations and achieve academic success.
The programme benefited 481 students from Classes IX and X, enhancing their confidence, subject knowledge, and motivation to continue higher education. Continuous academic guidance helped improve learning outcomes and reduce the risk of school dropouts among vulnerable students. The initiative achieved remarkable results, with 477 out of 481 students successfully passing the SSC Government Public Examination, achieving an outstanding 99.4% pass rate. Among them, 221 students secured First Class marks, reflecting the effectiveness of the programme in promoting educational excellence and creating better future opportunities for Dalit and Tribal children.

Career Guidance Programme for Class X and Intermediate Students :
ROPES organized Career Guidance Programmes for Class X and Intermediate (+2) students to help them make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. The programme provided valuable information on higher education opportunities, professional and vocational courses, emerging career options, scholarship schemes, and employability skills.
Experienced career guidance experts interacted with students, helping them identify their interests, strengths, and career aspirations while exploring suitable educational and career pathways. The sessions enhanced students’ awareness of future opportunities, strengthened their confidence in making informed decisions, and motivated them to pursue higher education and professional development.
The programme also contributed to reducing school and college dropouts by providing clarity on career prospects and encouraging students to continue their education and build successful futures.

Spoken English Coaching for School Children :
ROPES conducts a Spoken English Coaching Programme at its Training Hall to improve the communication skills, English language proficiency, and self-confidence of rural and tribal school children. The programme provides practical training in spoken English through interactive sessions, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, conversation exercises, group discussions, and public speaking activities.
Led by experienced English trainers, the programme helps students overcome stage fear, hesitation, and shyness while developing fluency and confidence in speaking English. It enhances their academic performance, participation in school activities, and readiness for higher education and future employment opportunities.
By strengthening communication and language skills, the programme empowers children to compete confidently in academic, social, and professional environments.
